Today, I'm gonna be talking about the latest offering by Oneplus. The Oneplus Nord CE 5g. The Oneplus Nord CE 5g starts with the base variant of (6+128) priced at 22,999 but that is not available as of now. So, the base variant right now is (8+128) priced at 24,999. The price is in no way justified for the quality which they are offering. Compared to its predecessor Oneplus Nord which comes with an all-glass design and gorilla glass 5 protection. It is no way near that phone in terms of design and hardware. The Oneplus Nord was launched at a starting price of 25,000. and for that price, you were getting an all-glass design with the legendary alert slider and a decent camera with an AMOLED display at a 90hz refresh rate. The 25-30k range is a competitive range and there are many smartphones that are far more value for money than this one. Let me highlight the Pros and Cons so that you will get an idea of why you should not invest your money in this phone.
- Cleanest android experience with oxygen OS.
- Right size and handy.
- Good battery performance.
- Headphone jack.
- In-display fingerprint sensor.
- NFC support
CONS
- Cheaper quality.
- Single speaker no stereo speakers.
- No legendary alert slider.
- No screen protection.
- No OIS, ultrawide.
- Not justified for the price.
Being a Oneplus 7 user and a fanboy of Oneplus I wouldn't say that this phone is all that bad. I would say "It's not a bad phone but a bad-priced phone". If it would have launched for 19k for the base variant it would have made more sense to the quality. I don't recommend this phone if you are planning to buy the phone consider the mentioned points and make a sensible decision.
