Vivo IQOO 7 Review

Today, I'm gonna be talking about the new offering by Vivo IQOO called IQOO 7.You might not have seen Vivo written in front of IQOO but I've written it purposely to clear the confusion. IQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo and just like the "Poco series" they have introduced themselves as the Flagship killer. Well, they are doing their job impressively. The last phone of IQOO was launched in February 2020 with IQOO 3 and after a gap of one year, they came with new series of IQOO. 

The Director of IQOO India Mr. Gagan Aroroa said - We were doing market research to better understand consumer needs and expectations. On this note, let's dive into the IQOO 7 Pros and Cons.

Pros

• 16.82cm (6.62) 120Hz AMOLED Display with 1300 peak brightness along with 300Hz Touch Sampling Rate
• 6000mm² Graphite Layer Full Coverage Liquid Cooling Technology

Cons

• Software
• The camera takes beautified pictures like most Vivo and Chinese brands.
• No headphone jack
• Limited service centers
• Plastic frame

To summarize this I would say the phone comes at a very competitive price. After a discount, you can get it even for around 29-30k. The display chipset is a good thing but you won't notice much of a difference if you are an average user. The software plays an important role in your day-to-day tasks and the Funtouch OS is still at its development stage and has a long road to go in terms of perfection. The omission of a headphone jack might not be a big problem for some but the IQOO 7 doesn't come with a type C to 3.55 cable that's worth mentioning. When it comes to after-sale service the IQOO team said they are covering major cities through Vivo service centers and post lockdown they have plans to expand more. The plastic frame is good for cellular reception but some people might find it cheap. It all comes down to personal preference. Given the price at which it is offered and the specs which it is equipped I would highly recommend you to buy this Amazing piece of tech.
